AEP is a Namibian based organization specializing in the design, staging and running of extreme sporting events, as well as offering tailor made adventure safaris and challenges for those inclined to test their limits in extreme environments.

AEP was founded in 2010 by Tinus Hansen & Russell Paschke, commencing operations with the planning and designing of the The Namib Quest & Fish River Canyon Ultra events.

Both events were officially launched and staged in 2011.

In 2012 Russell Paschke withdrew from the organization and was replaced with a logistics partner in the form of
I Dream Africa ( IDA ) under the ownership of Basil Smit.

In 2012 Namibia Breweries, through their Windhoek Light brand, came on board as title sponsors and event partners. This arrangement successfully continued until 2017, when NBL bought the rights to the events from AEP.

As of 2018, AEP introduced the TOYOTA WARRIOR Obstacle Racing Series, which was first staged at the Midgard Resort, then relocated in 2019 to Heja Game Lodge just outside Windhoek.

AEP together with IDA have the capacity and experience to stage large scale extreme sporting events or safaris which require substantial logistics and adventure know how.
