Map to Klein Windhoek Guesthouse can be found at following link - http://www.kleinwindhoekguesthouse.com/location
It is strongly suggested that a good set of light weight gators are used for the event, preferably with front foot cover as fine sand tends to seep through the front shoe mesh.
Please ensure timely arrival at registration, this will only enhance your experience for reasons you will soon understand:-)
Attached again is a map to the race village, this will also be available on the notice board at the Hobas office (entrance to Fish River Canyon).
Race GPX files / medical forms & directions will be sent per manual mail process, to follow....
Although the Fish River has stopped flowing, the water in the pools are safe for consumption. Should you however wish to make use of filter / chlorine tablets, this is your choice. Some pools may appear murky, however again OK to drink. If this puts you off then choose the larger pools and fill your bottles from a little below the surface. We will have a team filtering water at Sandy slopes (approx. 50km mark) and then again there will be bottled water at Kochas drift (Last check point approx. 25km from Ais Ais.
We wish you a SAFE journey to Namibia and looking forward to meeting all you who dare to take on the Fish River Canyon!!
Greetings from the AEP Team!
