4. Medical requirements:
A requirement from the National parks for all people entering the Fish River Canyon is to complete and submit a medical checkup form. This form needs to be filled in by your GP and provided to the race organizers at registration.
Should you not be able to open this document for any reason, then let us know so we can make alternative arrangements. Please note again, this is a requirement before commencing the race!
It is strongly suggested that a good set of light weight gators are used for the event, preferably with front foot cover as fine sand tends to seep through the front shoe mesh.
Please ensure timely arrival at registration, this will only enhance your experience for reasons you will soon understand:-)
Attached again is a map to the race village (village marked as green tent), this will also be available on the notice board at the Hobas office (entrance to Fish River Canyon).
We wish you a SAFE journey to Namibia and looking forward to meeting all you who dare to take on the Fish River Canyon!! Greetings from the AEP Team! Tinus Hansen Basil Smit
