AEP is the most organized challenging incredible Event host in Namibia.

African Extreme Promotions (AEP) is a Namibian based organization specializing in the design, staging and running of extreme sporting events, as well as offering tailor made adventure safaris and challenges for those inclined to test their limits in extreme environments.

AEP was established in 2010, with the initial aim of staging a multi day MTB event and a Trail Ultra Marathon. This led to the design and build of the Namib Quest MTB Challenge & Fish River Canyon Ultra.

Both these events were a first for Namibia!

The Namib Quest was the first multi stage MTB event which featured a new race village, in the Namibian wilderness, for each of the days 6 stages. AEP's vision was to create the challenge of conquering the Namibian Khomas Hochland Highlands and the Namib Naufkluft desert, departing Windhoek (Namibian Capital City) & arriving in the coastal resort town of Swakopmund.

The Fish River Ultra was the first Namibian Ultra Trail event, offering a 65km & 100km version, to be completed in a period of 24hrs. Conquering the world famouse Fish River Canyon Hiking Trail, remains the unique element of this event.

Both event were successfully staged and run by AEP from 2011 to 2017, at which stage the events were sold to Namibia Breweries Ltd.

Namibia offers some of the most remote, diverse, pristine and untouched wilderness areas to be found any where on earth. It’s in this environment, which is often inaccessible to the general public, that we offer our events. So if you think you have what it takes to survive the elements and your own limits then contact us to participate in one of our established events or challenge us to challenge you!
